Common questions
How long does a tune-up take?
Most Computer Tune-Ups are a couple of hours on site. If backups or repairs run longer, we tell you before we keep going.
Can you set up a new computer for me?
Yes. We can move files over, install what you actually use, and set up backups so the new machine is ready to work.
Do you work on laptops?
Yes — Windows, macOS, and Chromebooks. Desktops, too. The tune-up is the same starting point either way.
Can you fix a computer without wiping my files?
That is the default. We back up first whenever the machine will allow it, then only reinstall if the system is actually beyond repair.
