Yes. We start with what you already have, then only recommend new equipment if it is actually needed.
Will this work if the internet goes out?
Local control often still works — locks, lights, and thermostats on the home network. Anything that depends on a cloud app will wait until the connection returns.
Can you hide the extra boxes and cables?
Yes. Concealment is part of the install — wall plates, routed cables, and equipment tucked where you do not have to look at it.
Do I need a smart home hub?
